| Penerangan CU | Sewage tertiary treatment process optimization is an activity to improve the efficiency of disinfection or polishing process of effluent before discharging into the receiving water bodies. The person who is competent in sewage tertiary treatment process optimization shall be able to gather sewage tertiary treatment information, assess actual effluent loading and coordinate tertiary treatment process optimization and prepare sewage tertiary treatment process optimization report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the sewage tertiary treatment process optimization has been achieved in accordance with best engineering practice whilst meeting the Malaysia Sewage Industrial Guidelines (MSIG) requirements. The beneficial impacts include minimizing operation and maintenance costs, reduce disposal cost, increase profits, improve process output and reducing downtime. |
