| Penerangan CU | This Musculoskeletal Treatment describes the competency in muscular and joint therapy to improve mobility; range of motions, strength and endurance of client and also to alleviate pain related to muscular and joints chronic conditions. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assess client for muscular and joint treatment requirements, prepare work area and client for treatment, perform musculoskeletal treatment, evaluate musculoskeletal treatment services and provide after care advice. The outcome of this competency is to provide complementary treatment for musculoskeletal abnormalities due to post injury (accidents/sports), postural habits, and wear and tear from natural aging process in order to improve strength, mobility and quality of life in accordance with treatment requirements, traditional concepts and regulatory/statutory bodies’ requirements. |
