| Penerangan CU | Thermoset family of plastic materials harden and cure in the moulding process as the molecules actually crosslink in a chemical reaction and set into a final shape. For thermoset, the material is injected into a hot mould which has been clamped shut under enough force to keep the mould together while the material is forced into the cavity under high pressure. Thermoset Injection Moulding Production is the moulding process for producing plastic parts from plastic material by heating the moulding material to injecting it into a mould. The Thermoset injection need mould and thermoset injection machine. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to identify Thermoset Injection Moulding Production requirements, coordinate Thermoset Injection Moulding Production activities, carry out pre-production Process, Moulding Production process and product finishing process which include report Thermoset Injection Moulding Production activities The outcome of this competency is to produce a variety of plastic parts from the smallest component to entire body panels of cars, household such as plates, cup, spoon and forks and cover for electronic gadgets with good tensile and flexural strength, Dimensional stability and Corrosion resistance. |
