| Penerangan CU | Piping testing is conducted in both shipbuilding and ship repair working environments. Reinstatement testing is conducted on board after complete installation, whereas pressure testing is conducted in the workshop after pipe fabrication. Piping pressure testing is conducted to check the integrity of the pipe joints, whereas reinstatement testing is conducted to check the integrity of the mechanical joints. Testing is required to ensure the functionality of the piping system. The person who is competent in piping testing shall be able to prepare piping testing requirements, coordinate piping pressure test, conduct reinstatement test and report piping testing activities to superior.
