| Penerangan CU | Steel Continuous Casting Operation is the process of solidifying molten metal into semi-finished products and shapes. This competency unit describes the skills in operating Continuous Casting Machine to produce primary steel products which consist of variations of slabs, billets, and blooms according to Standard Operating Procedure and work instructions. A competent person in this CU shall be able to check continuous casting operation readiness, perform casting operation, and generate molten steel casting activities report. The outcome of this competency is the ability to operate Continuous Casting Machine so that the primary products can be produced in accordance with product specifications, Standard Operating Procedure and customer requirements. |
