A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify thin slab rolling operation requirements, set furnace temperature, perform thin slab handling, carry out furnace maintenance, perform roll change activity, perform hot rolling mill pre-start up, perform rolling process start up, record thin slab operation activities, and carry out production maintenance works. . The outcome of this competency is the ability to operate thin slab rolling machine in accordance with product specifications, Standard Operating Procedure and customer requirements. |
