| Penerangan CU | Atmospheric Ventilation System Preparation describes the competency to prepare and ensure the ventilation system within atmospheric safety operations is compliance with Safety, Health and Environment requirements. Atmospheric Ventilation System Preparation controls the atmospheric hazards of a confined space by replacing unsafe air with clean, breathable air. There are several methods for ventilating a confined space. The method and equipment used depend on the size of the confined space, atmosphere and source of the makeup air. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to test ventilator system, install atmospheric ventilation system, carry out initial cleaning and confirm free energy (deenergize). The outcome of this competency is to ensure ventilation system works efficiently to make sure measurable results, continuously improving safety, health and environmental performance throughout site or plant. |
