Penerangan CUIndividual Case Management describes the competencies required to involve face-to-face interaction with individuals to determine, plan, intervene, monitor, review his/her situation and work towards improving social functioning and problem-solving abilities. Two situations of determining situations commonly employed by Social Workers are needs assessment and risk assessment.

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform client engagement, perform client case assessment, perform intervention planning, implement case plan and perform case evaluation and termination.

The outcome of this CU is to achieve results that lead to increased individual’s functionality and wellbeing.
