| Penerangan CU | Bicycle Braking System Repair is a competency in performing repair and restoration of bicycle braking system in both on-bike and off-bike situation. A bicycle brake system consists of brake lever, pads, brake assemblies, brake cables and housings. Bicycle brakes are normally operated by hand levers by way of cables, or sometimes hydraulic lines. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare bicycle, tools and equipment, carry out on–bike bicycle braking system repair, carry out off–bike bicycle braking system repair and carry out work area housekeeping. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that bicycle braking system is well maintained and malfunction fixed in accordance with manufacturer’s specification; customer’s riding requirements, and company standard operating procedure. |
