| Penerangan CU | Bicycle Drive train Repair is a competency in performing repair and restoration of bicycle drive train. The drivet rain of a bicycle consists of all the parts used to push (or pull) the bike along. The parts are pedals, cranks, chain-wheel, chain, cogs (cassette) and derailleur. Drive train affects bicycle transmission efficiency. Drive train losses are an important factor in cycling. Therefore drive train repair is essential to ensure all components function well. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare bicycle drive train repair tools, carry out crank repair, carry out rear derailleur repair, carry out front derailleur repair, carry out chain repair and carry out work area housekeeping. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that bicycle drive train is well maintained and fixed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications; customer’s riding requirements, and company standard operating procedure. |
