| Penerangan CU | Finishing Process Quality Inspection describes the competencies required to inspect completed, folded and packed apparel and to detect defect/defectives occurred during the finishing process. The common defects related to finishing quality are appearance of apparel after pressing process, cleanliness from dust, stain and metal such as broken needle, labelling folding and packing method. The objective is to ensure finished apparel are ironed/pressed, folded and packed as per specification and met quality standard requirements. The person who is competent in this competency unit (CU) shall be able to comprehend sewing process inspection procedure, press/iron setting/parameters, type of defects, root cause of defects, quality standards requirements, regulatory and authority bodies requirements, Standard Operating Procedure and company policies. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare documents and tools for finishing process inspections, carry out apparel appearance inspections, carry out folded apparel appearance inspection, monitor packaging specification and participate final -audit process before shipping. The outcome of this competency is to ensure finished/ completed apparel are folded, packed and all quality aspects complied according to buyer requirements, apparel specification and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). |
