| Penerangan CU | A prototype is the first physical version of apparel in product development stage prepared as per buyer’s requirements. It is used as a basis for later production stages. The assistant merchandising personnel is responsible for coordinating and tracking the prototype development until buyer’s approval is obtained. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to determine apparel prototype development coordination activities and timeline, follow up on paper pattern development and material supply and delivery status, coordinate fabric and cut piece cutting and embellishment development, follow up on apparel prototype sewing status, arrange prototype submission to buyer for approval and coordinate prototype changes based on buyer’s feedback. The outcome of this competency is to ensure apparel prototype is developed according to schedule and buyer’s requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to coordinate apparel prototype development. The outcome of this competency is to ensure apparel prototype is developed according to schedule and buyer’s requirements.
