| Penerangan CU | Size set samples are made to ensure measurement of each size. The purpose of the size set is to check fit of the apparel in different sizes. At this stage the manufacture develops samples in multiple sizes generally in jump sizes such as S, M and L. Buyers check the size set sample and give feedback to the manufacturer to make amendments if required. The assistant merchandising personnel is responsible for coordinating and tracking the making of the size set sample until buyer’s approval is obtained. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to determine apparel size set sample making coordination activities and timeline, follow up on size set paper pattern making and material supply and delivery status, coordinate fabric and cut piece cutting and embellishment making, follow up on size set sample sewing, arrange size set sample submission to buyer for approval and coordinate size set sample changes based on buyer’s comments. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the apparel size set sample is developed according to schedule and buyer’s requirements. |
