| Penerangan CU | A strike off is a pre-production sample of embellishment which is done in order to check the accuracy of the embellishment layout, colour and quality. A dye lot refers to each batch of dyed fabric. Manufacturers assign each lot a unique identification number. The assistant merchandising personnel is responsible for coordinating and tracking the making of strike off and trim/ accessories until buyer’s approval is obtained. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to determine apparel bulk fabric and strike off approval coordination activities and timeline, follow up on request for full colour bulk fabric (first dye lot and full colour bulk fabric for strike off, coordinate full colour strike off making, arrange full colour bulk fabric (first dye lot) and strike off submission to buyer for approval and coordinate required changes as well as prepare bulk trim card. The outcome of this competency is to ensure fabric and strike off comply with buyer’s requirements. |

The outcome of the competency is to ensure bulk fabric and strike off are prepared according to schedule and buyer’s requirements.
