| Penerangan CU | Sample development is a repeating process whereby amendments have to be made based on buyers’ comments until approval is obtained. Systematic coordination and monitoring of these stages will ensure the samples are made on time and according to buyer’s requirements. The merchandiser also has to liaise with other departments such as the sample room, quality control and marketing department to coordinate sample development. Liaison with suppliers will ensure on time delivery of materials and effective communication with buyers has to be established so that the samples can be produced as required. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to monitor sample development activities as well as liaise with inter-department sections, relevant suppliers and buyers. The outcome of this competency is to ensure samples are developed according to buyer’s requirements and deadline. |

The outcome of this competency is to ensure apparel sample and materials are developed according to schedule and buyer’s requirements.
