| Penerangan CU | Materials for sample and apparel making include fabric, trim and accessories. Prior to procurement of these materials, fabric and material consumption requirements have to determined based on order details and specifications. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to determine order details an specifications, provide information to marker room for fabric consumption calculation, issue fabric purchase order, calculate thread consumption requirements, determine polybag and carton size, issue material purchase order, verify quality of bulk materials received and track actual cost incurred versus projected cost. The outcome of this competency is to ensure materials are procured in the right quantity and quality according to buyers’ requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to determine apparel material consumption requirements and arrange for the procurement of these materials according to buyer’s order details and specifications. The outcome of this competency is to ensure materials are procured in the right quantity and quality according to schedule and buyer’s requirements.
