| Penerangan CU | Bulk production and shipment coordination describes the competencies required to coordinate bulk production of the apparel upon buyer’s approval of the pre-production sample until shipment of the completed apparel to the buyer. Bulk production is performed based on requirements stated in the bulk worksheet. A Top of Production (TOP) sample has to be submitted for buyer’s approval prior to shipment The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to issue bulk worksheet, conduct pre-production meeting, review and approve Trim Card, monitor work in progress, liaise with buyer on production matters, monitor submission of TOP sample for buyer’s approval and test sample for lab test (if required), liaise with shipment for apparel delivery and arrange despatch of shipment sample to buyer if required. The outcome of this competency is to ensure apparels are produced according to buyer’s requirements and deadline. |

The outcome of this competency is to ensure apparels are produced according to buyer’s schedule and requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- Issue bulk worksheet Participate in pre-production meeting Review and approve trim card Monitor work in progress (WIP) Liaise with buyers on production matters Monitor submission of top of production (TOP) sample for buyer’s approval and test sample for lab test (if required) Liaise with shipping department for apparel delivery Arrange despatch of shipment sample to buyer (if required) |
