| Penerangan CU | Instrumentation Preventive Maintenance describes the competency required to scheduling maintenance activities to prevent unexpected instrument or control system failure to increase instrument or control system lifetime, safety and optimized spare part handling. This competency unit is important to ensure instruments and control systems are always in good order to fulfil the objective of water supply operations in delivering treated water to consumers. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare preventive maintenance work requirement, perform preventive maintenance work and prepare preventive maintenance record. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that instrument and control system preventive maintenance are performed in accordance with O & M specifications to meet workplace and safety guideline. |
