Penerangan CUStewarding Waste Disposal Handling describes the competency in disposing kitchen & F&B services waste in accordance with Environmental Quality Act 1974, Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 & establishment’s Standard Operating Procedure.

The competent person in this CU shall be able to identify waste handling requirement, perform waste handling activities, mobilise waste to collection area and perform work area & equipment housekeeping.
The outcome of this competency is the ability to handle kitchen & F&B services waste by complying with establishment’s waste management policy and related acts.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this CU shall be able to handle kitchen & F&B services waste by complying with establishment’s waste management policy and related acts. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:-
1. Identify waste handling requirement
2. Perform waste handling activities
3. Mobilise waste to collection area
4. Perform work area & equipment housekeeping
