| Penerangan CU | Secure Operating Systems Management describes the competency required to be able to manage, review and harden computer operating systems to ensure that access to these systems and services running on such systems provides a high degree of protection and security. The skills gained form an essential foundation to many activities surrounding operating systems including securing environments and validating security mechanisms. He or She is the person to carry out secure operating systems management on identified services and systems. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to manage operating systems in a secure manner, activate protection against unauthorized access, identify operating system security issue and implement procedures for hardening of operating systems. The outcome of this competency is to ensure secure operating systems management activities are carried out completely in accordance with organisational requirements and standard operating procedures. |
