| Penerangan CU | Risk & Vulnerability Assessment describes the competency required to be able to build protection mechanisms for IT systems and services in an organisation to ensure attacks and security breaches are prevented so as to protect the environment. The skills gained support activities surrounding systems and services including securing environments and validating security mechanisms. He or She is the person to carry out risk & vulnerability assessment on identified services and systems using suitable tools and methodologies. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assess cyber security risk, perform vulnerability assessment and produce a report on the outcome of risk & vulnerability assessment activities. The outcome of this competency is to ensure risk & vulnerability assessment activities are carried out completely in accordance with organisational requirements, industry best-practices and standard operating procedures. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this competency unit is to perform a risk assessment and vulnerability analysis to evaluate identified network, system and application risk levels in line with industry best practices. Personnel will be able to apply both technical techniques and security best practices to conduct a risk assessment and vulnerability analysis and produce comprehensive reports with recommended solutions. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: - 1. Assess cyber security risk 2. Perform vulnerability assessment 3. Produce a report on the outcome of risk & vulnerability assessment activities |
