| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skill, knowledge and attribute in Foundry Production Quality Management .The person incharge will responsible to monitor foundry quality control activities which covers mainly product quality to meet specifications and casting processes requirements. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to analyse quality data ,record ,specification and information ,monitor product and process quality performance,analyse quality of production output,troubleshoot production quality matters,propose remedial action required and prepare quality control report.As overall,quality system such as ISO 9001 shall be practiced and adhered. The outcome of this competency is to produce a variety of casting parts and components as per specified requirements.It could be achieved thru implementing Total Quality Control(TQC) concept which focus on build in quality into process.The process owner(the one who run the equipment should know what to be produce rather than ask someone else to check his work)and all works shall be completed in accordance with Product Specification, Standard Operating Procedure and customer requirements |
