Penerangan CU | Halal Poultry Slaughterhouse Machinery and Equipment Preparation describe the competency in ensuring machines and equipment operations are functioning and properly maintained for Halal poultry slaughtering process. A competent person in this CU shall be able to inspect poultry slaughterhouse machinery and equipment inspection, monitor poultry slaughterhouse machinery and equipment maintenance and conduct poultry slaughterhouse machinery and equipment trial run. The outcome of this competency is to ensure all works and activities are performed in accordance with Malaysian Halal Standard 1500, Malaysian Protocol of Meat and Poultry Productions requirements; and latest Animal Welfare Practice Act. To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to understand the poultry slaughtering process procedures and slaughterhouse machinery and equipment operations such as scalding, shackling, de-feathering and chilling functions |

Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this occupation profile shall be able to determine poultry slaughtering process procedures, slaughterhouse machineries and equipment operation such as scalding, shackling, de-feathering and chilling functions.
