The main difference between close and open profile forming is that closed profile will require welding. A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out forming production machine start up, carry out forming production machine operation and record production output. The outcome of this competency is to operate forming production machine in accordance with company S.O.P and machine manual To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to possess welding skills.
