A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare iron and steel plant equipment and parts servicing requirement, carry out Iron and Steel Industry plant equipment and parts servicing, check serviced parts & equipment and finalise servicing activities. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the machine specified is in operable condition and to maximize its life span in accordance with servicing procedures. |
