| Penerangan CU | Apparel pre-production sample making describes the competency in making the standard for bulk or mass production. This is the final stage of the sample making process before starting production. Sample maker makes about 8-12 pieces of the pre-production sample. This sample is used as the reference to the mass production apparel. Once the pre-production sample is approved by the buyer, the manufacturing company can start the production of the apparel. A competent person in this CU shall be able to determine pre-production sample sewing requirements, prepare tools and materials, check pre-production sample cut piece with embellishment, attach accessories onto pre-production sample cut piece, perform sewing machine set up, sew pre-production sample apparel ,perform pre-production sample rework and record pre-production sample sewing activities. The outcome of this competency is to sew detailed apparel according to measurements and fixed details to be used as reference for bulk production. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to sew detailed apparel according to measurements and fixed details to be used as reference for bulk production. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Determine prototype sewing requirements 2. Prepare tools and materials 3. Check prototype cut piece with embellishment 4. Attach sewing accessories onto prototype cut piece 5. Perform sewing machine set up 6. Sew prototype apparel 7. Perform prototype rework 8. Record prototype sewing activities |
