| Penerangan CU | Microwave Disinfectant System (MDS) operation control describes the competency in controlling the operation of MDS. MDS process transforms biohazard and medical waste into low-volume, unrecognizable, non-infectious material that requires no further treatment and can be safely disposed of in municipal landfills. A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare Microwave Disinfectant System (MDS) for operation, operate Microwave Disinfectant System (MDS), analyse MDS performance and shutdown MDS operation. The outcome of this competency is to successfully operate MDS in accordance with operating manual.
