| Penerangan CU | Highway users safety and health handling describes the competency in managing highway accident site, assisting accident victim rescue and assisting highway users in facing difficulties in highway traffic related matters. The competency unit is important to make sure that highway blockage and accidents impact are minimised earliest possible while maintaining smooth flow of highway traffic. A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to perform accident site immediate handling, perform on site traffic assistance (accident), perform vehicles towing, perform obstructed lane closure, perform tyre replacement assistance, and perform accident rescue exercise. The outcome of this competency is to provide a competence highway traffic safety operation customer services that is reliable and friendly in rescuing and supporting highway user in accordance with organizational requirement. In performing highway users’ safety and health handling, the patrolman must possess a valid car driving licence and motorcycle licence due to the nature of this activity that utilizes vehicle in completing the task. |
