Tajuk CUHALAL POULTRY SLAUGHTERHOUSE CERTIFICATION
Penerangan CUHalal Poultry Slaughterhouse Certification describes the competency in applying and acquiring the certificate by which accredited body assesses and verifies the status of a slaughterhouse and its related processes in accordance with an established Halal standard or requirement.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare Halal certification documents, apply Halal slaughterhouse certification, liaise with certification bodies, facilitate Halal certification auditing, update policy and procedure for Halal certificate renewal and perform Halal certificate safe keeping

The outcome of this competency is to ensure Halal integrity of poultry based on the concept of effective quality management system in accordance with certification body (JAKIM) guidelines for Halal Assurance Management System and Malaysian Protocol for the Halal Meat and Poultry Productions.

To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to fully understands the criteria in applying and renewing of Halal certificate that set by the certification body

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this CU shall be able to handle Halal poultry slaughterhouse application and renewal of Halal certificate. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:-
1. Prepare Halal certification documents
2. Apply Halal slaughterhouse certification
3. Liaise with certification bodies
4. Facilitate Halal certification auditing
5. Update policy and procedure for Halal certificate renewal
6. Perform safekeeping of Halal certificate
