Penerangan CUThis competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in Account & financial management functions. The role of account & finance manager is to plan, organize, implement and control all resources allocated to his/her department in order to achieve Account & financial management objectives.
The person who is competent in account & financial management will be able to perform SME financial management, bookkeeping activities management, petty cash and cheque payment management, revenue collection management and fixed asset management in accordance with organizational requirements.
An effective SME Account & financial manager should be able to systematically manage overall organizational financial management functions, accurate and timely bookkeeping activities, petty cash & cheque payment and revenue collection management, and accurate and cost effective fixed asset management in accordance with specified standard and organizational requirements and arrange for auditing and taxation process. He or she should be able to assist the top management in effective account & financial related decision making process.
The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically.
