Penerangan CUThis competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in Product and services sales & marketing management.The role of product and services sales & marketing management personnel is to manage product and services sales & marketing in order to achieve organizational objectives. The person who is competent in product and services sales & marketing management will be able to analyze product and services sales & marketing management concepts and requirements, plan Product and services sales & marketing management, perform product and services sales & marketing management, evaluate product and services sales & marketing management performance and present product and services sales & marketing management report in accordance with organisational requirement.
An effective sales & marketing manager should be able to reach the assigned targeted sales & marketing objectives of the organization, continues to understand customers’ needs and improvises current products/services or generate new products/services to fulfil those needs for the long term profitability of the firm in accordance with organizational requirements.
The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically.
