| Penerangan CU | Treatment & disposal operation via incinerator describes the competency in operating an incinerator. Incineration is a waste treatment process that involves the combustion of organic substances contained in waste materials. Incineration and other high-temperature waste treatment systems are described as "thermal treatment". Incineration of waste materials converts the waste into ash, flue gas, and heat. A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out waste acceptance, perform weighing and feeding waste for treatment, replenish insufficient reagent, remove bottom ash and remove fly ash. The outcome of this competency is to successfully operate an incinerator in accordance with incinerator operating manual. |
