| Penerangan CU | Treatment & disposal operation via Microwave Disinfection System (MDS) describes the competency in operating the MDS. MDS processes transform biohazard and medical waste into low-volume, unrecognizable, non-infectious material that requires no further treatment and can be safely disposed of in municipal landfills. A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out waste acceptance, perform weighing and feeding waste for treatment, monitor shredding process, monitor microwaving process, weigh residue and store at designated area The outcome of this competency is to successfully operate MDS in accordance with MDS operating manual. |
