He or she is responsible for protecting environmental values within land preparation operations area by applying preventative measures as specified. The personnel who are competent in this unit will be able to protect environmental sensitive areas, perform housekeeping to standard and dispose of wastes and pollutants. The outcome of this competency is environmental non-compliance is minimised in accordance with legal requirements. |
