| Penerangan CU | Highway facilities serviceability monitoring coordination describes the competency to supervise a team of highway patrolman to ensure all highway areas and assets are usable, irregularities free, defect free, safe public area, standard housekeeping and all other requirements as specified in accordance with the contracted conditions through the specified inspection, observation and maintenance coordination with related support services for the overall highway services performance. This competency unit is important to optimise resources in providing good highway users experience for continuously increasing and high service demand. A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to perform highway facilities serviceability information dissemination, perform highway facilities serviceability monitoring coordination, and prepare highway facilities serviceability inspection report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure good customer experience through the provision of all contracted highway services facilities that are serviceable, sufficient and available whenever needed are achieved at an effective cost and time in accordance with organizational requirement. In performing highway facilities serviceability monitoring coordination activities, the incumbent must possess a valid car driving licence and motorcycle licence due to the nature of this activity that utilizes vehicle in completing the task. |
