| Penerangan CU | Highway patrolling vehicles & equipment maintenance coordination describes the competency in supervising a team of highway patrolman in maintaining patrolling vehicle to ensure the workability and serviceability of the vehicle as well as the equipment which to be used in conducting patrolling activities. The competency unit is important to ensure that patrolling vehicles & equipment are well maintained at an effective cost and ever ready when needed. The competency unit is important as the patrolling vehicle and equipment are the key factor to good highway traffic safety operation service. A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to perform patrolling equipment preventive maintenance record compilation, perform patrolling equipment inspection report compilation, and verify patrolling vehicle maintenance requisition The outcome of this competency is to optimize cost and resources in ensuring zero idle time in patrolling activities due to ineffective vehicles and or equipment as specified in accordance with organization requirement. |
