Penerangan CUHighway auxiliary police coordination is a competency in leading an assigned auxiliary police team in executing law enforcement activities in highway traffic safety operation.

The competency unit is important to the appointed auxiliary police team leader of highway management as it goes along with granted police powers in enforcing the law within their company’s premises and facilities.

The person who led the team must also be an appointed employees of the accepted organization, sworn as auxiliary police, attended a specific training scheme and comply with all requirements for the appointment of auxiliary police members as prescribed by the Ketua Polis Negara.

This competency unit is important as it enable incumbent to play a leading role in the auxiliary police team.

A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to perform Auxiliary Police functions report compilation, perform reported incident follow up actions, perform Auxiliary Police log book (POL 5) verification, and perform Auxiliary Police activities coordination.

The outcome of this competency is to ensure all task assigned completed, goals and objectives are accomplished within stipulated standard, time and cost in accordance with organization requirement.

In performing highway patrolling auxiliary police coordination, the incumbent must possess a valid car driving licence and motorcycle licence due to the nature of this activity that utilizes vehicle in completing the task.
