| Penerangan CU | Palm Oil Milling Metal Jointing describes the competency in jointing metal using thermal based and non-thermal based technology to form a single piece and or forming new shape for a specific purposes. A competent person in this CU shall be able to perform welding work, perform brazing work, perform bolt and nut jointing, and perform rivet jointing and metal assembling. The outcome of the thermal based jointing work competency is to produced perfect joint alignment, uniform surface, free from overlap, free from slag inclusion, free from undercut, free from surface porosity, free from surface crack, arc strikes free, mechanical damage free, longitudinal seam free and free from incomplete filling. The outcome of the non-thermal based jointing work competency is to produce well aligned, tight and complete contact surface with accurate dimension of jointed metals. The metal assembling competency is the application of jointing competency to produce a required fabricated products in accordance with organization’s standard requirement. |
