The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare precast column installation requirements, perform precast concrete column unloading activities, carry out column setting out, perform receiving floor surface levelling, place precast column into position, carry out joint grouting, remove temporary props and perform housekeeping activities. The outcome of this competency is safe installation of precast concrete column into the required vertical position according to method statement. |
