Penerangan CU | OSV Safety & Quality Assurance Coordination is a competency in which the person will ensure the state of readiness of OSV to fulfil owner, charterers, and stakeholders legal and commercial requirements The person who is competent in this competency will have the working knowledge and competent in safety, security, quality management standard. At the same time the person possesses knowledge on the various SOP on vessels and best practices in ensuring structured approaches is applied on all procedures and processes to meet the expectation of stakeholders. He/she must be able to verify and assess the level of compliance to the SOP and standards required by the stakeholders. The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure commercial operations of the OSV are executed in a smooth, and safe and secure manner. |

Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure that the personnel is able to assure the safety and quality of services provided on board the vessel by coordinating the implementation of safety elements and readiness of the vessel to ensure that all task are performed effectively and in a safely manner. In particular the trainees will be able to: 1. Apply set procedures in accordance with company, charter, statutory standard and industry best practices 2. Carry out periodical inspection, drill and test for continual accessibility of OSV services 3. Conduct root cause analysis for continuous improvement 4. Execute management of change procedures 5. Plan OSV assets for readiness inspection 6. Coordinate crew competency development 7. Conduct Job Hazards Analysis / Job Safety Analysis (JHA/JSA) |
