| Penerangan CU | Bond and Guarantee Takaful/ Insurance (also known as insurance guarantee) is a type of Takaful/ Insurance whereby an insurance company undertakes to pay an amount guaranteed in the event of default/ non performance of the guaranteed party. A performance bond, also known as contract bond, is a security bond issued by a Takaful or insurance company or a bank to a guarantee satisfactory completion of a project by a contractor. A job requiring a payment and performance bond will usually require a bid bond, to bid the job. Bond and Guarantee Takaful & Insurance Claims is a process of assessing liability and appraising quantum for settlement of any claims based on policy terms and conditions in accordance with Company’s guidelines and regulatory bodies’ requirements. The person who is competent in Bond and Guarantees Takaful & Insurance Claims shall be able to analyse Bond/ Guarantee Takaful Certificate/ Insurance Policy, process Bonds/ Guarantee Takaful/ Insurance Claims, arrange for Bonds/ Guarantee Takaful/ Insurance Claims payment and close Bonds/ Guarantee Takaful/ Insurance Claims files in accordance with Company’s guidelines and regulatory bodies’ requirements. The outcome of this competency is to conclude and finalise the claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective Bond and Guarantee Takaful Certificate/ Insurance Policy, Company’s guidelines and regulatory bodies’ requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU will be able to conclude and finalise the claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective Bond and Guarantee Takaful Certificate/ Insurance Policy, Company’s guidelines and regulatory bodies’ requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: 1. Analyse Bond/Guarantee Certificate/ Insurance Policy Coverage and Liability. 2. Process Bonds/Guarantee Takaful/ Insurance Claims. 3. Arrange for Bonds/Guarantee Takaful/ Insurance Claims Payment. |
