Penerangan CUFront desk management describes the competency of managing the area where guest arrive and first encounter a staff at a place of business.

The competent person in this CU shall be able to verify all available cash in house bank and cashier’s float, analyse front desk operation requirements , monitor guest arrival activities , monitor guest departure activities, monitor lobby activities, facilitate guest complaint and feedback, handle emergency situation, record and update shift manager duty log according to hotel’s Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

The outcome of this competency is to ensure that front desk associate equipped with knowledge and skills to perform a fast and efficient service.
