Penerangan CUThis competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in HR compensation and benefits administration functions. The role of HR compensation and benefits administrator is to assist the SME management in planing, organizing, leading and control all resources allocated to his/her department in order to achieve HR compensation and benefits objectives of the entire organization.

The person who is competent in HR compensation and benefits administration will be able to perform Payroll administration, employee protection benefits administration, employee leave & leisure benefits administration, and Employee job related benefits administration.

An effective HR compensation and benefits administrator should be able to assist the SME management to design, plan and deliver a competitive and affordable HR compensation that satisfy the internal and external equity, in order to sustain, motivate and keep loyal and effective employees within an allowable cost margin that contributes towards achieving organizational short and long term goals thus resulting in turnover rate that is below the industrial index in accordance with organizational requirements.

The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically.
