Penerangan CUThis competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in Account & financial administration functions. The role of account & finance administrator is to assist the SME Management to plan, organize, implement and control all resources allocated to his/her department in order to achieve Account & financial management function objectives.
The person who is competent in account & financial administration will be able to perform bookkeeping activities supervision, perform petty cash administration, revenue collection administration, perform cost recognition, perform fixed asset administration and perform financial management assistance in accordance with organizational requirements.

An effective SME Account & financial administrator should be able to achieve zero error and timely book keeping entries, systematically administer and record all revenues, expenses & assets of the organization and effectively provide financial management assistance in accordance with specified standard and organizational requirements. He or she should be able to assist the top management in accounting and finance by providing required information for effective decision making process.

The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically.
