| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in performing Occupational Safety & Health Administration. The role of Occupational Safety & Health Administrator is to plan, organize, lead and control all resources to achieve the occupational safety & helath objectives of the organization in order to achieve the overall organizational goals and objectives. The person who is competent in Occupational Safety & Health Administration will be able to perform OSH communication activities, implement OSH emergency response activities, perform OSH inspection activities, perform OSH surveillance activities, administer OSH hazard identification & assessment control in accordance with organisational requirement. An effective SME Occupational Safety & Health administrator should be able to assist SME management to ensure that all Occupational Safety & Health statutory requirements are fully complied, annual accident rates in the organization always below the annual industrial accidents’ index rates, enforced and promote safe work method continuously and all desired organizational occupational safety and health objectives achieved in accordance with organizational requirements. The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically. |
