| Penerangan CU | Cladding Material and Site Preparation are to ensuring safe, efficient and trouble-free cladding installation before any cladding materials or cladding installation operatives arrive on site. This CU is important because a proper site preparation can produce a quality product, reduce wastage and adequate construction period. This CU present good practice guidance on all of the relevant aspects of cladding work installation and avoid remedial work. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify cladding materials requirement, prepare cladding materials, confirm proper material storage, inspect incoming materials (within site), prepare working tools and equipment and verify safe site. The person must possess CIDB Construction Personnel Card to perform the competency unit on site. The outcome of this of this competency is cladding materials and cladding site are prepared according to work requirement while continuously improving safety, health and environmental performance throughout site. |
