| Penerangan CU | Glass Wall Cladding Installation is involving glass as a solid material that usually transparent and break easily. Glass is formed using by fusing sand, sodium carbonate and calcium carbonate under extreme heat. Under the glass series, the usage for building are float glass, tinted glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, stain / colour glass, low ‘E’ glass for performance and reflective glass for solar. Importance of glass in the industry especially construction for building glass cladding, that easy to construct, wide selection and increasing use in market. With more choice/selection in term of appearance, design, colour, light transmission, solar control, safety, shape, thermal and etc. There is need in the global market and trends. With building enclosure on glass cladding, the maintenance is easy for cleaning, no painting needed and cost effective. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare glass wall cladding installation work, carry out site marking, install cladding bracket, carry out glass wall cladding and check glass wall cladding installation. The person must possess CIDB Construction Personnel Card to perform the competency unit on site. The outcome of this competency is accurate and safe installation of glass wall cladding according to method of statement. |
