Sales promotion is designed to be used as a short-term tactic to boost sales – it is rarely suitable as a method of building long-term customer loyalty. Sales & promotion is needed to attract new customers, to hold present customers, to counteract competition, and to take advantage of opportunities that are revealed by market research. Competent personal shall be able to evaluate sales & promotion calendar received from HQ, plan Sales & Promotion, coordinate Sales & Promotion implementation and monitor on-going Sales & Promotion performance. Efficiency in managing sales & promotion will result increase in sales and customer loyalty. |
