| Penerangan CU | Microalgae biosecurity management is a component of microalgae production to safe guard culture quality and control the contamination by invasive microalgae species. It is an initiative within the bio security management to ensure continuity in production with desired microalgae characteristics free from contamination and hazard in the microalgae production industry. The person who is competent in microalgae biomass production biosecurity management shall be able to carry out microalgae biomass production analysis, prepare biosecurity plan, carry out biosecurity implementation and assessment. The outcome of this competency is to enable long-term preservation of pure microalgae strain, sustainable microalgae culture and productivity in accordance with operational standard operating procedures. |
