Penerangan CUMall Marketing Planning Administration describes the competency to assist the mall management in formulating mall marketing strategy in line with the medium and long term mall overall business strategy in a way to reach organizational mission and vision. It will be supported by tactical plan which will be used as an implementation instrument at operational level. The competency unit is important as the plan developed will become an instrument to unite all marketing effort towards achievement of common mission and vision.
A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to perform annual marketing plan development, prepare mall marketing budget, develop mall marketing policies & procedures, perform events planning and perform marketing performance evaluation.
The outcome of this competency unit is maximum mall tenancy rates with the desired tenancy mix ensured. The mall also shall record highest shoppers compare to other mall of similar capacity in the region. More than 75 % of returning visitors also expected from a competent leader who produce effective marketing plan. Effectiveness of personnel in this area can also be seen from the long term uptrend sales result as effective plan shall provide clear strategic sales direction.
